KTEBI LIK is an educational and environmental project that promotes the exchange of school books and instills values of responsibility, teamwork and environmental protection among youth and the community.

KTEBI LIK is a pioneering volunteer, educational, cultural, and environmental project that was launched 12 years ago. It is considered one of the association’s most prominent initiatives in the fields of social solidarity, environmental education, and the promotion of active citizenship. The project is based on setting up tents for the exchange of school textbooks in front of municipalities, in addition to collecting unusable books and notebooks for valorization and recycling. This approach contributes to promoting a culture of respect for books, protecting the environment, and reinforcing responsible behavior among individuals. The project is implemented annually fifteen days before the start of the school year, serving as an open space for students and parents. It enables them to obtain school textbooks in a solidarity-based, economical, and organized manner, within an atmosphere of cooperation and social cohesion. The twelfth edition of the project marked a qualitative leap in terms of reach and impact, as it was present in front of four municipalities in the governorate of Sfax: Chihia, Sakiet Ezzit, Sakiet Eddaier, and Gremda. This expansion helped broaden the circle of beneficiaries and strengthen proximity to citizens. The impact of KTEBI LIK is not limited to its service dimension; it also represents a comprehensive educational space that contributes to the development of participants by enhancing communication skills with different segments of society, teamwork, and the spirit of volunteering and initiative. Furthermore, it offers the organizing team an advanced leadership experience, enabling them to acquire skills in leadership, planning, team management, working under pressure, and assuming responsibility, within a framework of discipline and commitment. KTEBI LIK embodies the association’s vision of building an aware, responsible, and supportive citizen, capable of contributing positively to society and protecting the environment.
